City Theatre presents the Hispanic Affinity Night, welcoming all community members to join us for the production of "Somewhere Over the Border. This event is a celebration of Hispanic culture and community, featuring PMAHCC members Noel Quintana and Hugo Cruz.
Begin the night with networking and entertainment, starting at 6:30pm with a chance to connect with Hispanic organizations in your community, including Casa San Jose and the Latino Community Center. Then, at 8:00pm, enjoy the show and experience the talent and passion of these incredible performers.
Together we can experience a captivating musical journey with "Somewhere Over the Border," inspired by the true story of the playwright’s mother’s journey from El Salvador to the U.S. This exciting new musical, created by the writer of "Where Did We Sit On the Bus?" takes you down a unique yellow brick road.
Infused with the rhythms of Cumbia, the soul of Mexican Mariachi Boleros, the energy of American Rock, and the groove of Hip Hop, "Somewhere Over the Border" is more than just a show; it's an uplifting tale that celebrates the incredible power of determination, the importance of family, and the magic of love. Join us on this extraordinary musical adventure!
We can't wait to see you there!
