About the Clemente Museum

The Clemente Museum has called Pittsburgh's Lawrenceville neighborhood home since 2007, housed in the historic Engine House No. 25. Founded by photographer Duane Rieder, whose personal collection — built with the support of the Clemente family — forms the heart of the museum, it holds thousands of pieces of Roberto Clemente memorabilia, from uniforms and equipment to rare photographs and seats from Forbes Field.

But the museum is more than a collection. It carries forward Clemente's legacy of service: after Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico in 2017, the museum led a relief campaign — asking for donations of $21, in honor of Clemente's jersey number — that raised over $50,000 and filled two tractor-trailers with supplies for the island. It's a museum built as much on giving back as it is on remembering a legend.

It's Their Fundraiser — Clemente Bridge Fest

Friday, September 11, 2026 | 3:00–7:00 PM | Roberto Clemente Bridge, Pittsburgh

This is the Clemente Museum's 17th Annual Fundraiser, and it's grown into one of Pittsburgh's great community celebrations — live music, local food and beverage vendors, workshops, special guests, and kids' activities right on the Clemente Bridge. Last year drew more than 1,200 people, and this year is expected to be even bigger. It's also run as a zero-waste event, in partnership with Carbon Compost.

Tickets: $21 for adults / $12 for children in advance, $30 at the door. Tickets grant access to the bridge and all vendor areas.
